Our Mission

The PEACE Project in Haiti is dedicated to providing quality education in Haiti. (And education isn't limited to school classrooms!)  We're realistic. We recognize that we can have only a very limited effect on the country as a whole.  But with that realization we know that we can positively affect Carrefour, a significant community near Port au Prince (because we've been doing it since 2011.)  

The PEACE Project in Haiti oversees a number of projects in Carrefour, Haiti, that either promote education or work to empower communities.  We support and monitor the work in three schools, operate a vocational school, provide training to farmers in two communities, and help with medical care in remote villages.

100% of what you give goes to the work and is tax deductible. PEACE Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit staffed and run by volunteers.  Administrative costs are covered by a private donor.  Travel costs are often paid for by the individual traveling.
